As a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity Strategy & Architecture (GRC), you will collaborate with a diverse range of clients, from large enterprises to smaller organizations, to strengthen their security frameworks. Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Leading or supporting client IT and security teams in the execution of strategic security initiatives and projects, working alongside other NVISO specialists to tackle client challenges or fully integrate with their operations;
- Enhancing security governance, policies, processes, and guidelines across all aspects of cybersecurity;
- Implementing or refining client Security Strategies by establishing Enterprise and IT governance frameworks through policies, standards, processes, and operational structures;
- Designing Information Security Architectures that align business functions with the cybersecurity and IT landscape;
- Formulating action plans in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Assisting clients in achieving or maintaining compliance with information security laws, contractual obligations, or internal standards;
- Developing a Security Strategy informed by corporate risk and threat assessments in partnership with key organizational stakeholders;
- Providing reports to senior management within client organizations;
- Engaging with a variety of organizations, all united by the goal of advancing their defenses against current and emerging cyber threats.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing GRC and/or CISO-related initiatives;
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; while a background in IT or technology is not mandatory, a strong affinity for technology is essential;
- Relevant certifications such as ISO (ISM or Auditor), CISSP, or GSEC are advantageous;
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity control frameworks like ISO27002, NIST CSF, BSI, or CIS Controls is required;
- Experience in aligning NIS2 and/or DORA requirements with practical implementations in organizations and financial institutions is a plus;
- Ability to work autonomously while valuing teamwork;
- Strong interpersonal skills: an effective communicator who cares about colleagues;
- Demonstrated project management capabilities;
- Results-driven with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes within established timelines, prioritizing client satisfaction and excellence in deliverables;
- Proficient in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Eligibility for NATO clearance is required.
