Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Consultant specializing in Cyber Strategy & Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the security posture of our diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading or collaborating with clients' IT or security teams to implement strategic security initiatives, addressing challenges alongside fellow NVISO experts or integrating fully with client organizations;
- Enhancing security governance, policies, processes, and guidelines across various aspects of cybersecurity;
- Developing or refining client Security Strategies by establishing Enterprise and IT governance frameworks through policies, standards, processes, and operational structures;
- Creating Information Security Architectures that align business functions with the cybersecurity and IT landscape;
- Formulating action plans in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Assisting clients in achieving or maintaining compliance with information security legal, contractual, or internal standards;
- Crafting a Security Strategy, underpinned by a corporate risk and threat assessment in partnership with key organizational stakeholders;
- Reporting findings and progress to senior management within client organizations;
- Engaging with a variety of organizations, from large enterprises to smaller entities, all focused on advancing their defenses against evolving cyber threats.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) related projects;
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree; while a background in IT or technology is not mandatory, a strong affinity for technology is essential;
- Relevant certifications such as ISO certifications (ISM or Auditor), CISSP, or GSEC are advantageous;
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity control frameworks like ISO27002, NIST CSF, BSI, or CIS Controls is required;
- Experience in translating NIS2 and/or DORA requirements into practical implementations within enterprises and financial institutions is a plus;
- Ability to work autonomously while valuing teamwork;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on effective communication and concern for colleagues;
- Demonstrated project management capabilities;
- Results-driven, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within established timelines, prioritizing client satisfaction and exceptional deliverables;
- Proficiency in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Eligibility for NATO CLEARANCE is required.
