Job Overview

As a Senior Data Science Associate at Publicis Sapient within the DACH region, you will be instrumental in driving innovative projects that focus on customer insights, generative AI, language processing, and tailored solutions. Your role will cover the complete data science lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment in production environments. In this client-facing position, you will utilize your technical skills in machine learning and cloud computing while adopting a consulting approach to enhance both internal and client-driven initiatives.

Your Contributions

  • Engage in the design and execution of machine learning models, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise and proficiency in Python.
  • Utilize ML engineering capabilities to optimize the deployment of models and systems into production, ensuring technical excellence at every stage.
  • Work closely with clients to identify their needs and challenges, delivering data-driven solutions.
  • Assist in the development of value propositions and client proposals, illustrating the tangible business benefits of our data science initiatives.
  • Foster Innovation and Knowledge Sharing
  • Actively participate in internal data and AI discussions, sharing knowledge and contributing to the collective expertise.
  • Remain updated on industry trends to ensure our solutions are innovative and relevant.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong educational background in quantitative fields related to data science, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar disciplines.
  • A few years of professional experience in Data Science roles.
  • Solid technical skills in machine learning, cloud technologies, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience with collaborative development tools and practices, including peer code reviews and version control (Git).
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying multiple data science models/systems into production.
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills; ability to simplify complex analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A proven eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Fluency in German (both verbal and written, suitable for business contexts and complex concepts) and English.

Distinguishing Factors

  • ML engineering skills that showcase the ability to streamline model deployment and manage intricate ML workflows.
  • Prior consulting experience with a client-centric focus.
