Your role will span the complete data science lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment in production environments. In this client-facing position, you will utilize your technical skills in machine learning and cloud computing while adopting a consulting approach to enhance both internal and client-driven initiatives.
Your Contributions
- Engage in the design and execution of machine learning models, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise and proficiency in Python.
- Utilize ML engineering capabilities to optimize the deployment of models and systems into production, ensuring excellence throughout the process.
- Collaborate with clients to identify their requirements and challenges, delivering data-informed solutions.
- Assist in crafting value propositions and client presentations, illustrating the measurable business benefits of our data science initiatives.
- Innovation and Knowledge Sharing
- Actively participate in internal data and AI discussions, sharing knowledge and contributing to the collective expertise.
- Remain updated on industry trends to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
Required Qualifications
Skills & Experience
- A quantitative educational background, ideally in a field related to data science, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar disciplines.
- Several years of professional experience in Data Science roles.
- Strong technical skills in machine learning, cloud technologies, SQL, and Python.
- Familiarity with collaborative development tools and practices, such as peer code reviews and version control (Git).
- Proven track record of deploying multiple data science models/systems into production.
- Attention to detail coupled with excellent communication, presentation, and analytical abilities; capacity to simplify complex analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A demonstrated eagerness to learn.
- Proficient in German (both verbal and written, in a business context, handling complex concepts) and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- ML engineering skills, showcasing the ability to streamline model deployment and manage intricate ML workflows.
- Previous experience in consulting with a client-centric focus.
