Data Engineering Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team at WEPA. As a key member of our digital innovation centre, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data architectures that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale data solutions that meet business requirements and drive data-driven decision making.
  • Lead the integration and management of streaming analytics platforms, such as Kafka and Apache Flink, to enable real-time analytics and data insights.
  • Develop and maintain data models and architectures that support our cloud-based data platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and drive business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture and technology to ensure our data platform remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data architecture or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and rolling out large-scale data solutions.
  • Prior experience with Azure Cloud is essential.
  • Fluent in English and German.
