Job Title: Procurement Supervisor

Flowserve is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Supervisor to join our team in Essen. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing all supply chain activities at our Essen site, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process for direct and indirect materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of Procurement Specialists to handle Procure-to-Pay activities, including supplier management and contract administration.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing team to ensure delivery of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and regulations.
  • Implement the Flowserve management system, including Daily Management, to drive process optimization and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • 5 years of experience in international purchasing in a manufacturing company.
  • Initial management experience, preferably in purchasing.
  • High level of technical competence, including knowledge of drawings, manufacturing technologies, and standards.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Fluent written and oral communication skills in English and German.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software modules and ERP system, preferably SAP R3.
