About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for optimizing and streamlining our procurement processes, building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, and negotiating contracts that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet our needs
  • Optimize and streamline our procurement processes, reducing costs and improving efficiency
  • Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure procurement best practices are followed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve our procurement processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive business growth
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other procurement software, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting
  • Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
