Overview

Renesas Electronics is seeking a skilled change management architect/team lead to oversee the configuration and maintenance of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM. This role involves coordinating the change management process within ERP systems, ensuring seamless and efficient change delivery across the SAP environment. You will provide both technical and functional support for issues related to SAP Solution Manager and lead a global team of two change management consultants and analysts. Additionally, you will manage relationships with third-party vendors and other integrated systems, while also developing the roadmap for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), from implementing Change Request Management (Charm) in 7.2 to transitioning to Cloud ALM.

Duties

  • Oversee SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM, emphasizing change management processes.
  • Configure and maintain SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM to facilitate change management workflows.
  • Coordinate the change management process in ERP systems, including the creation, approval, testing, deployment, and documentation of change requests.
  • Provide technical and functional support for SAP Solution Manager issues, troubleshooting risks and challenges as they arise.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring the quality and compliance of services rendered.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, testers, and business users, to align on change management objectives and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain the ALM roadmap, from implementing Charm in 7.2 to future transitions to Cloud ALM, planning and executing necessary activities.
  • Lead and mentor a global team of two change management consultants and analysts, overseeing their hiring, training, performance evaluation, and feedback processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management for SAP projects, ideally in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Proficient in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM, with familiarity in other SAP tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of change management best practices and standards, including ITIL, COBIT, and PMBOK.
  • Experience with integration between Charm and ServiceNow is advantageous.
