Change Management Lead for SAP Solutions

We are seeking a Change Management Architect to oversee and enhance our SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM configurations. This role involves orchestrating the change management processes within our ERP systems. You will play a pivotal role in delivering technical and functional support for SAP Solution Manager issues, ensuring seamless change delivery across our SAP ecosystem. Additionally, you will lead and guide a global team of change management consultants and analysts while managing relationships with third-party vendors and interconnected systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining the roadmap for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), from the implementation of Change Request Management (Charm) in 7.2 to the transition to Cloud ALM.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM with a primary focus on change management.
- Configure and sustain SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM to facilitate change management workflows.
- Coordinate the change management lifecycle in ERP systems, including change request initiation, approval, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Provide both technical and functional support for SAP Solution Manager-related challenges, addressing any issues or risks that arise.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring the quality and compliance of their services.
- Engage with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, testers, and business users, to communicate and collaborate on change management goals and expectations.
- Maintain the ALM roadmap, planning and executing transition activities from implementing Charm in 7.2 to migrating to Cloud ALM.
- Lead and mentor a global team of change management consultants and analysts, overseeing their recruitment, training, performance assessment, and feedback processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in change management for SAP projects, ideally in a leadership or senior capacity.
- Proficient in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM, with familiarity in other SAP tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of change management best practices and standards, including ITIL, COBIT, and PMBOK.
- Experience with integration between Charm and ServiceNow is advantageous.
