Regional Business Development Manager – Public Sector
Location: Germany
As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth, overseeing the onboarding of new clients, and focusing on expanding and developing existing customer relationships. Your daily responsibilities will include collaborating with our extensive channel-partner ecosystem to achieve greater market penetration. This exciting role will enable you to leverage your extensive network to identify and pursue new business opportunities, engage in regular syncs with your manager, and serve as the primary interface between customers and all relevant divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to close deals and achieve quarterly sales targets.
- Achieving agreed-upon sales goals and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Qualifying opportunities, accurately forecasting pipeline, and driving sales growth.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and completing relevant certifications to enhance skills.
- Participating in customer and channel-partner events to foster relationships and drive business growth.
- Delivering webinars on current cybersecurity topics to educate customers and partners.
Required Skills:
- A proven track record of selling solutions to public sector accounts with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
- A demonstrated ability to achieve quota and maintain career stability with experience in closing deals.
- Excellent presentation skills to executives and individual contributors, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An ambitious and independent mindset, with the ability to move deals through the sales cycle.
- A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a hunter mentality.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience selling network security products and services.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a graduate degree preferred.
