THE TEAM'S MISSION THIS YEAR
To enhance our software solutions for comprehensive building mapping and the generation of realistic 3D models utilizing state-of-the-art robotics technology.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
You will play a key role in developing, testing, refining, and sustaining the software and methodologies for calibrating our Mobile Mapping Systems (MMS). You will engage deeply in the entire calibration process, from initial concept to final production deployment. You will work closely with our production team to identify, escalate, and resolve challenges related to our calibration processes and tools. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing the technical documentation associated with calibration.WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
A Master's degree or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in sensor calibration, with a preference for expertise in camera sensors, laser scanners/LIDARs, and IMUs. Proficiency in C++ development and associated tools, along with solid coding skills in Python. Familiarity with Linux and command-line operations. A strong commitment to data quality and process improvement will be beneficial throughout the calibration workflow.What would be even better?
Experience with C++ libraries such as Ceres, ROS, Boost, Eigen, OpenCV, or PCL. Background in modeling and solving complex optimization challenges, particularly related to 2D/3D correspondences.HOW WE WILL KNOW WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH
