At NavVis, we're pushing the boundaries of reality capture and digital factory solutions. As a Senior Calibration Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative software and processes to calibrate our Mobile Mapping Systems (MMS).

The Opportunity

You'll join our dynamic Mapping and Perception department, collaborating with a diverse team of experts who share a passion for delivering top-class mapping solutions. Together, you'll elevate our software solutions used in mapping entire buildings and creating realistic 3D representations based on cutting-edge technology in robotics.

Your Impact
  • You'll be responsible for building, testing, improving, and maintaining the software and processes to calibrate our MMS.
  • You'll be deeply involved in the full life-cycle of the calibration process from ideation to production.
  • You'll collaborate closely with our production team to identify, escalate, and resolve issues with our calibration processes and tools.
  • You'll create, maintain, and improve the technical documentation for calibration.
What We're Looking For
  • A Master's degree or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in calibration of sensors, with expertise in C++ development and related tools.
  • Proficiency in using Linux and the command line.
  • A passion for data quality and improving processes as well as workflows.
