About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team in the Project Management Office. As a key member of our safety and certification team, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical and functional safety of our heavy duty fuel cell systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and approval requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare documentation of your work
- Collaborate closely with HW & SW departments, development specialists, project management, sales, and quality teams
- Lead and supervise cooperation with external consultants, customers, and suppliers, including occasional international travel
Requirements:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work pragmatically and in a solution-oriented manner
- Professional experience in electrical power systems, the automotive industry, or safety technology
- Quick grasp and basic understanding of technological contexts and their evaluation
- Knowledge of common safety standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO) and experience with fuel cells
- Excellent German and English language skills
