Mobile Equipment Service Technician Ansbach, Germany Job Overview

This position serves as a Mobile Equipment Service Technician within the 405th Army Field Support Brigade (AFS) BASOPS Maintenance division (BMD). The primary responsibility involves the repair and inspection of specialized vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties include:

  • Conducting repairs and inspections on a diverse range of specialized vehicles and equipment, such as construction machinery, forklifts, firefighting apparatus, sewage trucks, street sweepers, generators, cranes, truck platforms, trailers, and tactical vehicles.
  • Performing comprehensive diagnostics to identify failures and executing necessary hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and minor body repairs, including spot painting.
  • Utilizing advanced technical procedures and methods to ensure high-quality work output.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license class B is mandatory.
  • Class C driver's license is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in office automation tools is required.
  • Language proficiency: English Level B1 and German Level B2 are essential.
Employment Conditions

The selected candidate will be required to undertake temporary duty travel as part of their responsibilities.
