Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Equipment Service Technician to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and inspecting special purpose vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and inspections on a wide variety of makes and models of special purpose vehicles and equipment, including construction equipment, forklifts, firefighting equipment, and more.
  • Diagnose failures and perform hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and mechanic repairs, as well as minor body repair and spot painting work.
  • Apply technical state-of-the-art procedures and methods to achieve high-quality work output.
  • Work in small teams, often in severe conditions, with limited availability of machinery and tools.
  • Transport and arrange for transportation of vehicles/equipment from customer locations to repair shops.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license class B required; class C desired.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
  • Office automation skills required.
  • English language proficiency level B1 and German language proficiency level B2 required.
