Customer Support Specialist with Leadership Potential

Expeditors is a renowned global logistics provider based in Seattle, Washington, boasting over 45 years of expertise in supply chain management. We are dedicated to connecting the globe through comprehensive transportation solutions across land, sea, and air, while prioritizing the professional growth of our employees. We are seeking a Customer Care Representative/Account Manager with aspirations for leadership.
Position Overview:
- Oversee and coordinate relationships with existing clients and key accounts, both remotely and on-site.
- Prepare for and conduct follow-up on client meetings.
- Collaborate with various departments (air freight, sea freight, trucking, etc.) to develop tailored logistics solutions.
- Independently handle account growth and contract management in conjunction with the Legal Department.
- Lead tender processes in collaboration with Tender Management and relevant branches.
- Conduct quarterly performance evaluations with clients utilizing diverse reporting methods and KPI analysis.
- Recognize client needs and opportunities, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong enthusiasm for personal and professional advancement within the logistics sector.
- Commercial education or degree in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related field.
- Experience in air freight, sea freight, or other logistics services.
- Proven customer management experience in an international logistics environment.
- Knowledge of sales and/or customer service within the logistics industry.
- Ambition for leadership roles.
- Fluent in German, proficient in English, and skilled in MS Office applications.
