Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Central Services to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the departments of Accounting, Controlling, Human Resources, Legal, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the department leads in their daily operations and further development
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the Managing Director and peer Directors on financial, legal, and commercial matters
  • Ensure alignment of Central Services departmental strategies with the FLOCERT strategy and other sub-strategies
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for the Managing Director, oversight bodies, and our shareholder
  • Develop strategic plans, including budget planning, business cases, and investment measures
  • Monitor and control liquidity
  • Define improvement projects and further develop existing structures and processes in Central Services
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
Requirements
  • University degree in business administration or law
  • Profound professional experience in the areas of responsibility, ideally in an international context
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Convincing and motivating leadership with excellent intercultural and communication skills
  • Great team player with a positive and proactive attitude and a 'getting things done' mentality
  • High affinity for business digitalization and transformation
  • Experience with financial statements according to German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written
