Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Sales - EMEA and APAC to spearhead our regional sales efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will oversee the regional sales team, which includes sales and account management professionals, ensuring the attainment of financial performance targets across the EMEA and APAC regions.
Your Responsibilities
As the Director of Sales, you will:
- Lead and inspire the regional sales and account management teams to achieve high performance and consistent revenue growth.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, guiding them in:
- Understanding Embross solutions and their unique value propositions.
- Building and nurturing client relationships.
- Identifying customer purchasing behaviors and motivations.
- Successfully closing deals through effective negotiation.
- Addressing delivery challenges and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Embross processes, including accurate reporting within key systems.
- Monitor team performance and financial metrics, implementing timely adjustments to meet targets.
- Oversee the quality of pricing and quotations prepared by team members, ensuring professionalism and accuracy.
- Set clear goals for team members that align with overall organizational objectives.
- Provide regular feedback and manage the annual performance review process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Contract Managers and Marketing, to enhance regional activities.
- Maintain a strong partnership with the delivery organization to address operational needs.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A minimum of five years of experience in managing and mentoring sales or account management teams, with a proven record of achieving and exceeding financial targets.
- Preferred experience in passenger processing solutions, either as an employee or supplier in the industry.
- Established relationships at the executive level within the industry are a plus.
Location: Remote work within the EMEA region, with a preference for proximity to major airport hubs.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in the airline or aviation sector, with a comprehensive understanding of passenger processing.
- Proficiency in Spanish, French, or German is advantageous.
Travel Requirements:
This role will involve frequent travel to manage a geographically dispersed team.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
