Language Teacher Opportunity at The Educational Equality Institute

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Language Teacher to join our team at The Educational Equality Institute. As a Language Teacher, you will play a vital role in enhancing the language skills of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to teach basic language skills to students.
  • Conduct online or in-person language classes for students, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to develop effective teaching strategies and materials.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their language learning goals.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops provided by The Educational Equality Institute to enhance your teaching skills.
Requirements:
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners, with a strong passion for education and community development.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans, with a focus on student-centered learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Fluent in German, with a strong command of the language and its nuances.
  • Having a language teaching certificate is highly valued, but not required.
  • Good level of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
