Job Description
The Role
As a key member of the Central Engineering Organization, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of standardized Digital Methodologies across the organization. This involves creating and maintaining Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool flows and scripts, assisting the Digital Design Teams, and collaborating with technology experts to drive future advancements and technology integration.
Serve as a 'Consultative Expert' to the Design teams, providing authoritative technical guidance that significantly enhances business performance through increased productivity and quality. Actively seek and implement enhancements to Methodology Scripts, Guidelines, and Documentation. Collaborate with the IP Enablement and Digital Place & Route Services teams to develop and support digital library views. Foster strong relationships with Design Teams, delivering exceptional service and supporting initiatives aimed at continuous improvement for predictable and high-quality implementation solutions. Critically assess existing processes and continuously explore opportunities for enhanced efficiency within the business. Disseminate technical knowledge by developing and conducting training sessions for Design Teams, participating in conferences, and organizing knowledge-sharing events. Mentor and coach less experienced team members. Conduct proactive market research to stay informed about technological advancements that could benefit the organization.Your Profile
Typically, 7+ years of relevant industry experience. Strong comprehension of Digital ASIC Design, Implementation, and Verification processes. Proficient in Digital design methodologies and programming languages such as Verilog and System Verilog. Expertise in Unix/Linux environments. In-depth knowledge of Logic Synthesis, Design for Test, Static Timing/Power Analysis, Formal Equivalence Checking, and Linting. Strong programming skills in Python, Perl, and TCL. Proven leadership abilities with a track record of contributing to a successful team dynamic. Effective and proactive communication skills in a multi-site and multicultural context. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to prioritize tasks, set objectives, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to persuade and influence based on technical evidence. Willingness and capability to undertake occasional international travel. Degree-level qualification in Electronics, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related field.Desirable:
Familiarity with the Liberty Digital Library format.-
