Job Description
Position Overview
The successful candidate will engage with the Central Engineering Organization to establish standardized Digital Implementation methodologies and facilitate their integration across the organization. This role encompasses the development and upkeep of EDA tool workflows and scripts, assisting Digital Design Teams, and collaborating with technology expert groups for future advancements and technology integration.
Serve as a 'Consultant of Expertise' to the Design teams, offering authoritative technical guidance to deliver solutions that significantly enhance business performance through increased productivity and quality. Actively identify and execute enhancements to Methodology Scripts, Guidelines, and Documentation. Collaborate with the IP Enablement and Digital Place & Route Services teams to develop and support digital library views. Cultivate strong relationships with Design Teams, delivering exceptional service and supporting initiatives to capture lessons learned for continuous improvement in providing reliable and high-quality implementation solutions. Challenge existing workflows and consistently seek innovative methods to enhance operational efficiencies for the organization. Disseminate technical knowledge by developing and conducting training sessions for Design Teams, participating in both internal and external conferences, and organizing informative sessions. Mentor and coach less experienced team members. Conduct proactive market research to stay informed about technological advancements that could benefit the organization.Candidate Profile
Typically possesses 7+ years of industry experience. Strong comprehension of Digital ASIC Design, Implementation, and Verification processes. Familiarity with Digital design methodologies and programming languages (Verilog and System Verilog). Proficient in Unix/Linux environments. Expertise in Logic Synthesis, Design for Test, Static Timing/Power Analysis, Formal Equivalence Checking, and Linting. Significant experience with Python, Perl, and TCL. Strong leadership abilities complemented by demonstrable contributions to a successful team environment. Effective and proactive communication skills within a multi-site and multicultural context. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to prioritize tasks, set objectives, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to persuade and influence based on technical facts. Willingness and capability to undertake occasional international travel. Degree-level qualification in Electronics, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related field.Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with the Liberty Digital Library format.
