We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to lead the commercial development and revenue growth of Simris Biologics GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and partnerships to commercialization and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new revenue streams and partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including biopharma companies, research institutions, and industry partners.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including licensing agreements, collaborations, and partnerships.
- Develop and present business cases to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the Board of Directors on business development progress and performance.
- PhD or MSc in Life Sciences with 8+ years of molecular/cell biology, or a related field, but with significant industrial commercial experience gained working in the drug discovery or drug development space, in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering key milestones and strong evidence of experience developing and implementing research collaborations and partnerships leading to license agreements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong business development and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and pursue new revenue streams and partnerships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
