We're seeking a skilled People Operations Specialist to drive employee-centric processes and create a seamless experience for our team members.

The role

At Zenjob GmbH, we prioritize creating an exceptional experience for our employees. Our People Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in designing and implementing effective processes that support our team's growth and well-being.

This is not a traditional HR role; we're looking for a collaborative and creative individual who can advise our people managers on labor law matters and optimize our people processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain employee processes from onboarding to exit, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our team members.
  • Manage operational personnel administration, including document creation and management, HRIS, data management, relocation & visa processes, and payroll preparation.
  • Provide support to employees on administrative and operational questions, advise people managers on people-related and labor law matters, and create comprehensive internal guidelines.
  • Analyze key people data, such as company growth, retention, employee satisfaction, absenteeism, and vacation, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage partners and suppliers for P&C software, perks & benefits, and communicate with external stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Director of People & Culture to set a people-centric People Operations Strategy & OKRs and bring it to life by designing new frameworks and managing related initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a People Operations / HR Admin role, with a proven track record of creating smooth processes and delightful employee experiences.
  • Knowledge of employment law, immigration law & visa processes, payroll, and taxes.
  • Strong organizational talent, with the ability to juggle diverse projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • An eye for detail and a knack for ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
