Senior Media Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Manager to join our team at rebuy, a pioneer in sustainable reuse of electronics and media. As a key member of our Media category team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Media offerings, driving revenue and profitability goals, and ensuring alignment with our overall company objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies to steer 2 media categories towards revenue and profitability goals, leveraging analytical skills and passion for pricing to enhance our pricing tools and strategies.
- Collaborate with multiple departments, including product, marketing, operations, and data science teams, to improve overall category performance and implement new features.
- Own cross-media category projects, ensuring a keen understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Category Management, preferably in e-commerce or retail, with a focus on physical goods, preferably in the media category.
- Strong analytical skills, with a passion for pricing strategies and tools, and proven track record in developing and implementing category strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead complex projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace, especially Excel / Google Sheets, and knowledge in SQL/ Python is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
