Key Responsibilities- Category Growth: Grow your categories within fresh (exact groups to be defined together) in sales and margin by deciding what assortment to sell, against what selling prices, with what discounts, how to present it in app and how to activate both in and out of app.
- Supplier Negotiations: Independent deal negotiations with our (A-brand) suppliers and the development of a supplier network.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Data-driven decision-making and staying up-to-date with the latest E-commerce developments.
- Collaboration: Close cooperation with the other departments, like Retail media, Marketing, Supply chain, and Hub operations to ensure growth and profitability.
- Process Improvement: Build the company further by identifying potential areas for optimization within category management.
- Team Collaboration: Being part of an energetic and experienced team, with a great mix of people with all different backgrounds from the bigger retailers and A-brand suppliers.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience as a buyer, category manager or key account manager within the food industry, preferably within fresh.
- A bachelor's degree in economics or management.
- Experience in analyzing category performance and devising strategy based on market trends and internal data.
- Demonstrable experience in making pragmatic decisions to achieve business incomes.
- Working proficiency (C1) in both English and German.
- A €1000 annual L&D budget as well as individual coaching options to ensure you have plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and achieve your goals.
