Data Center Capacity Optimization Specialist

About the Role

SAP is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery team as a Data Center Capacity Optimization Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the setup of a global and cross-organizational program for Datacenter Capacity Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve process implementations to achieve best-in-class process-wide collaboration
  • Maintain the Enable Now Document Management System
  • Improve overall documentation structure in Enable Now
  • Create process flows in Signavio – Level 1, Level 2
  • Create and update documents in Enable Now and Wiki – document existing processes
  • Identify gaps or redundancies in documentation
  • Work on improvements of documentation for specific topics like Build Configuration Repository, Production Planning, Quality Management etc.
  • Attend Change Advisory Board calls with focus on documentation updates
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives – automation, analysis, implementation support, documentation

Requirements

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Informatics and Data Sciences
  • Computer skills: MS Office products, Confluence, Jira, Signavio, LeanIX
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Soft skills: interested in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals, quick learner, passionate, motivated, creative and self-managed
