YOUR FUTURE ROLE
As part of our comprehensive trainee program, you will rotate through various departments, engage in extensive training, receive guidance from a dedicated mentor, and gain expertise in the following domains:
- S/4HANA Financial Solutions
- S/4HANA Technological Frameworks (including in-memory databases, foundational NetWeaver concepts, and mobile applications)
- Data Volume Management and Native Storage Optimization
- Service delivery tailored for premium clientele
Upon successful completion of the program, you will integrate into our expert team, collaborating with international colleagues to deliver strategic assessments and optimization services to our global clientele. Working within the Center of Excellence (CoE) means a commitment to lifelong learning, as our software solutions continually evolve, necessitating ongoing education even after your training period.
Our Clientele:
- Providing short-term services for premium engagement clients, including notable corporations.
- The typical engagement duration spans two weeks, encompassing analysis and presentation phases.
Analysis:
- Large enterprises generate substantial data within their databases.
- Assessing primary database tables concerning archiving, deletion, data avoidance, and summarization.
- Investigating innovative solutions to minimize data footprint.
Presentation & Discussion of Findings:
- Results are communicated and clarified through remote or in-person meetings.
- Professional knowledge transfer to clients.
- Travel to client locations is anticipated, with expected travel ranging from 0 to 40%.
- In certain cases, we implement deletion and archiving solutions within client systems for long-term engagements.

- Streamlining and optimizing the database size for our premium clients.
- Decreasing hardware costs.

YOUR PROFILE

- Proficiency in German and English.
Technical Skills:
- Competence in crafting basic SQL queries.
- Understanding of database structures.
- Initial exposure to SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA or SAP NetWeaver Systems (optional).
- Basic knowledge of ABAP / ABAP Performance Optimization (optional).
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Business Economics (optional).
ABOUT THE TEAM
Our SAP Data Volume Management CoE team operates across multiple locations, comprising 15 professionals from 8 different nationalities, with an average age under 30. We are passionate about assisting our clients while fostering a fun and engaging workplace.
Typically, we travel in small teams to our clients, collaborating closely with experienced colleagues to build the confidence necessary for growth in your area of focus. After workshops, we explore new destinations together.
Participation in rotation programs within global CoEs will open new avenues for you to excel in your performance.
