Configuration Manager for Ground Segment

As a key member of the Airbus team, you will be responsible for ensuring the coherence of product configuration throughout its entire life cycle. This involves creating and implementing Knowledge Management (KM) and Software Knowledge Management (SW-KM) rules and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage national and international projects on the Ground Support Systems & Services program area as a configuration manager, collaborating closely with project teams.
- Consolidate and maintain coherent product information, ensuring delivery and compatibility.
- Develop and implement configuration management plans, operating PLM tools for product configuration and validation of suppliers' and partners' KM plans.
- Plan, control, and implement KM and SW-KM activities for national and international project activities.
- Define and implement KM interfaces (internal and external).
- Ensure the collection, publication, storage, and access to product & project data, drawing sets, documents, and software data.
- Internal and external control of changes to product information and implementation of release boards and change control boards.
- Provide coherent product information via baselines (K status) and KM reports (to-build/as-built).
- Conduct configuration management audits, checking design compliance and the characteristics of the manufactured product with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, or industrial engineering.
- Several years of experience (at least 3 years) in configuration management (KM) and SW-KM.
- SAP knowledge, with detailed functions.
- Knowledge of SAP PLM/Windchill PLM is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German will be an advantage.
This role is located in Immenstaad, Germany.
