Project Manager for Product Variant and Configuration Management

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for Product Variant and Configuration Management to join our team at HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and specifying KM interfaces, creating KM plans, and ensuring the application of the configuration process. They will also implement release boards, create baselines and construction status specifications, and coordinate subcontractors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Definition and specification of KM interfaces (internal and external)
  • Creation of KM plans in German and English
  • Creation of product structures (identification of configuration units and mapping in the KM tools)
  • Ensuring the application of the configuration process
  • Implementation of release boards (RBs)
  • Creation of baselines and construction status specifications
  • Implementation of internal and external change management (change control boards)
  • Creation of evaluations and status presentations
  • Collaboration in internal and external international project teams
  • Coordination of subcontractors and customers

Requirements

  • Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or comparable
  • Experience in project management, configuration management, and the various KM standards (ISO 10007, EIA-649)
  • Experience in software configuration management and production processes is advantageous
  • Knowledge of SAP PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) and Serena Business Manager / Dimensions advantageous
  • Ability and social competence to implement or introduce KM specifications
  • Ability to make presentations to international customers and partners
  • Ability to work in a team and compromise, but also assertiveness and initiative as well as negotiation skills with customers and contractors (internal / external)
  • Fluent German and good English skills
