Product Variant and Configuration Management Project Leader

Overview
We are seeking a qualified "Project Manager for Product Variant and Configuration Management (f/m/d)" to join our "Configuration Management (CM)" division at the Immenstaad location.The "Configuration Management (CM)" division is responsible for ensuring the effective application of CM processes throughout the project and product lifecycle, adhering to contractual obligations while efficiently completing project-relevant CM tasks. This approach guarantees that project and product objectives are met within established performance, time, and cost parameters, minimizing risk.
Our team members are integrated into core project teams, collaborating closely with project and product managers from the onset of the planning phase.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and specify KM interfaces, both internal and external.
- Develop KM plans in both German and English.
- Create product structures by identifying configuration units and mapping them in KM tools.
- Ensure adherence to the configuration process.
- Facilitate the implementation of release boards (RBs).
- Establish baselines and document construction status specifications.
- Manage internal and external change processes through change control boards.
- Prepare evaluations and status presentations.
- Collaborate within international project teams, both internally and externally.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and clients.
- Advance the KM system.
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and configuration management, with familiarity in various KM standards (ISO 10007, EIA-649).
- Experience in software configuration management and production processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) and Serena Business Manager / Dimensions is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to implement KM specifications effectively.
- Ability to present to international clients and partners.
- Team-oriented with strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and initiative.
- Fluent in German with proficient English language skills.
