Compliance & Risk Management Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Legal & Compliance Manager to join our team at WITTENSTEIN SE. As a key member of our corporate function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with global standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on German law matters and coordinate with external legal service providers
  • Ensure the compliance of the WITTENSTEIN group with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance management system
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and other parties
  • Lead and develop the Corporate Function Legal & Compliance team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance the company's awareness of legal risks
  • Drive the optimization, standardization, and digitalization of legal processes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Law
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a multinational industrial company or a comparable compliance or legal advisory position
  • Strong knowledge of a relevant area of law, such as commercial law, company law, or labor law
  • Experience in M&A transactions is an asset
  • Excellent contract management and compliance management skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, structured, and results-oriented working style
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, identify risks, and make informed decisions
  • High level of engagement, resilience, and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and persuasively
  • Strong digital leadership and media skills
  • Excellent English language skills
