In our Risk Management & Regulatory Reporting team, you will play a crucial role in overall bank governance. Your role will focus on identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks to ensure the stability and sustainability of Creditplus.
We are currently seeking a Lead Risk Management Specialist (m/w/d) in Modelling & Data Science for our Risk Management / Quantitative Risk Controlling division.
Your Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and validate statistical models and processes in accordance with Basel and IFRS 9, focusing on PD, LGD & EL, in collaboration with two team members.
- Work closely with the expert team from our parent company to establish modeling parameters, including identifying relevant risk factors, data selection, segmentation, and calibration.
- Support supervisory reviews and model approval processes under the IRBA.
- Integrate findings into risk management in close cooperation with the credit department.
- Prepare and periodically update model reports and documentation, including backtesting of Basel and IFRS 9 parameters.
- Conduct and coordinate stress tests.
- Generate risk analyses and reports.
- Validate and backtest models and scorecards.
- Participate in various projects.
- Completed degree in Statistics, (Business) Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a quantitative focus.
- Solid professional experience in IRB modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Proficient in programming (SQL, SAS, ideally R or Python).
- Strong knowledge of IRB regulations (CRR, CRD, EBA) and IFRS 9.
- Project experience in regulatory initiatives.
- Excellent command of English.
- Analytical thinking and a structured, independent working style.
- Objectivity, willingness to learn, and a high degree of initiative.
