Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 6 internal staff and 3 external consultants, while coordinating with local IT teams of 14 Management Units.
- Manage third-party service providers for IT operations, external partners, consultants, and vendors in areas of networks, end-user computing, data centers, groupware messaging, and infrastructure security.
- Serve as a Business Partner for other internal IT teams and a consulting partner for strategic IT decisions within the company.
- Develop and take ownership of strategies in alignment with other teams to achieve project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Lead the team in establishing and maintaining IT infrastructure, Security, and governance standards, collaborating with specialists for detailed execution.
- Work with globally distributed, cross-functional teams on IT Infrastructure projects as group-wide IT Infrastructure Accountable.
- Be accountable for infrastructure operations (including SLA/KPI/BCM reporting, Knowledge Management and Documentation) and improvement (technically, commercially, service-wise).
- Act as a member of escalation bridges, assisting in major incident management as a problem solver.
- Responsible for sponsoring and driving Intersnack's transformation from decentralized to centralized IT provisioning and related projects, including post-delivery optimization.
- Technical and/or business degree (graduate level preferred) with 5+ years of experience, including similar roles or responsibilities.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the IT Infrastructure Management area, with a desirable 5 years of leadership experience managing multinational teams, vendors, and locations.
- Technical understanding and delivering solutions across the IT Infrastructure domain, especially Networks (e.g. Cisco), SD-WAN, public/private Cloud, Telephony, outsourced environments and shared services (primarily Microsoft based with Active Directory & Azure), Security (e.g. ISO2700X) and GRC.
- Strong initiative, organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally while remaining flexible to changing tasks, priorities, roles, and responsibilities.
- Advantageous candidates hold one of the following certifications: ITIL (V4 desired), Prince 2, TOGAF, or a comparable qualification.
- A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus.
