Team Description and Role Details

As a Lead Business Functional Analyst within the sLimits team, you will play a pivotal role in the global deployment of a critical corporate banking system that provides real-time funds release verification services. Collaborating closely with all stakeholders, you will be tasked with defining both business and functional requirements. You will join a vibrant team based in Frankfurt that adheres to Agile (Scrum) methodologies and best development practices, utilizing cutting-edge architectural approaches such as Cloud, GCP, Microservices, and Kafka.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will evaluate and articulate business and functional requirements, ensuring clarity on all necessary points with business stakeholders, operational departments, business analysts, and both solution and technical architects.
  • In close collaboration with developers, you will ensure that implementations align with business and architectural specifications.
  • You will participate in defining and executing testing activities alongside product owners, subject matter experts, and testing teams, particularly during product launches.
  • You will establish working methodologies, set internal standards, and actively contribute to shaping our processes and solutions.
  • You will mentor and support our junior team members.
Your Skills and Experience
  • B.A./B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven expertise in functional specification and technical design, with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current technologies and architectural methodologies (Microservices, Cloud, Web Services, Web UI) to effectively inform solution design.
  • Exceptional organizational and teamwork abilities.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
