Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer to join our R&D team in Itzehoe, Germany. As a Product Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and maintenance of our SIHI dry and boost systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop standard SIHI dry and boost systems in accordance with defined guidelines and standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for order engineering, providing technical expertise on standard products.
- Collaborate with GTEC to perform calculations and evaluations for optimal component design.
- Coordinate quality notifications, including drawings, master data, and BOMs.
- Apply design engineering principles to standardized modules, configurability, and design in line with function and production requirements.
- Conduct FMEA's and risk assessments for designed products.
- Prepare and review documentation for standard products, including accessories, material master data, parts lists, 3D models, and 2D drawings.
- Develop documentation for designed standard systems, including operating instructions and service instructions.
- Cross-departmental problem-solving, including quality issues.
- Execute additional product engineering tasks and projects as specified by product management.
Your Profile:
- Completed university degree in mechanical engineering or comparable.
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Depth knowledge of ERP, PLM (SAP R3, Windchill), and CAD.
- Knowledge of FEM simulations.
- Depth knowledge of MS-Office applications.
- Team player with high personal responsibility.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English/German skills.
