We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Engineer to join our team as a Technical Specialist for Automation in Medical Laboratories. As a key member of our EMEA region, you will be responsible for handling service requests, analyzing and solving technical problems, and providing customer support for the application of instrument-specific software.
Key Responsibilities- Service Request Handling: Respond to and resolve technical issues in the EMEA region, providing second-level support to customers.
- Technical Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, both on-site and remotely.
- Training and Development: Conduct technical training courses for our EMEA technical support staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Customer Support: Provide expert support for the application of instrument-specific software, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Escalation and Complaint Management: Collaborate with affiliates, our Japanese headquarters, and suppliers to resolve complex issues and manage customer complaints.
- Documentation and Procedure Development: Prepare and revise technical documentation, as well as develop and establish new procedures for standardizing device settings in the field.
- Education: Degree in medical technology or a comparable field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in technical support, with a focus on conceptualizing and conducting training courses.
- Expertise: Profound knowledge of electrical and medical engineering, as well as IT basics.
- Skills: Strong customer orientation, ability to motivate, independent working skills, communication skills, and open-mindedness.
- Language: Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
