Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Engineer to join our team as a Technical Specialist for Automation in Medical Laboratories. As a key member of our EMEA region, you will be responsible for handling service requests, analyzing and solving technical problems, and providing customer support for the application of instrument-specific software.
Your Responsibilities
- Handle service requests in the EMEA region as second-level support
- Analyze and solve technical problems, also on customer's site
- Conduct technical training courses for the technical support staff in EMEA
- Provide customer support for the application of instrument-specific software
- Take care of escalation and complaint management in cooperation with affiliates, our Japanese headquarters, and suppliers
- Prepare and revise technical documentation
- Develop and establish new procedures for standardizing device settings in the field
Your Profile
- Degree in medical technology or comparable education
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support, as well as conceptualizing and conducting training courses
- Profound expertise in electrical and medical engineering, as well as IT basics
- Confident and professional appearance, strong customer orientation, and the ability to motivate
- Independent working skills, communication skills, and openness
- Profound English skills, written and verbal
