About the Role

Arendt & Medernach, a leading independent business law firm in Luxembourg, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join its dynamic team. As a key member of the Business Development team, you will play a pivotal role in driving client activity and cross-selling, working closely with Partners, BD Leads, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate the implementation of the go-to-market strategy for designated Industry Groups, requiring collaboration with Product Groups and Geography Groups.
  • Support account management for selected priority clients in the designated industries, with opportunities to lead this process.
  • Respond to client requests for proposals, tenders, and presentations, showcasing the firm's capabilities.
  • Assist in shaping the yearly Industry Group BD & Marketing plan and support its successful execution.
  • Maintain commercial data and distribution lists for designated Industry Groups, ensuring accuracy and regular updates.
  • Conduct industry-specific market analysis and research to inform business development strategies.
  • Participate in periodic planning, review, and follow-up meetings with Industry Group Steering Committees and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of professional experience in Business Development or Marketing, preferably in a law firm, professional services industry, or Fund/Financial Institution industries.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Strong command of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, and experience in managing RFPs and client proposals/presentations.
  • Ambitious and interested in the firm's business, with a desire to contribute to its progress and growth.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with any other language (French, German, Luxembourgish) considered an asset.
