Purchasing Manager for Recycling Raw Materials

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage suppliers for recycling and precious metal resources in the D/A/CH region and build long-term partnerships.
  • Acquire new suppliers and explore new material sources.
  • Take responsibility for handling complaints and efficiently coordinate solutions.
  • Prepare market reports and conduct market analysis.
  • Optimize processes in collaboration with production areas and production planning.
  • Support strategic market development by providing market insights.
  • Participate in projects and monitor their progress.
  • Visit suppliers regularly to diversify the procurement portfolio.
  • Coordinate deliveries and ensure contract fulfillment at our European facilities.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Fluency in German and English, additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficient in Office 365 and SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong technical understanding and experience in electronics recycling.
  • Customer-oriented, independent, and flexible with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Results-driven with efficient organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding intercultural awareness and willingness to work in an international team.
  • Willingness to travel.
