About the Role

We are seeking a Purchasing Manager - Recycling Raw Materials to join our team at our Lünen location. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing suppliers from the D/A/CH region for recycling and precious metal raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Coordinate with production teams and logistics to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform procurement decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, with additional language proficiency a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SAP, with experience in procurement software a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
