Overview:
Conexus DX Limited is on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Lead Product Operations Specialist to become part of a vibrant international team. In this pivotal role, you will establish frameworks and methodologies to operate, sustain, and oversee data-centric services and technologies within our ecosystem. Your contribution will be vital in guaranteeing the accessibility and dependability of our hybrid cloud platform offerings. You will collaborate closely with customer success teams, platform operations, software developers, DevOps personnel, and various stakeholders to improve the performance and reliability of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the formation of an operations team comprising both internal and external personnel.
- Design and subsequently champion processes related to incident, problem, and change management within the Data Product Line, working in tandem with the program's Operations team.
- Supervise and proactively manage internal and external dependencies in partnership with architects, product management, and delivery teams to reduce operational impact.
- Collaborate with the Product Delivery Manager to ensure products are primed for operationalization within the data product domain.
- Engage with QA team members to implement and uphold quality assurance standards, ensuring the superior quality of delivered products and services.
- Spot opportunities for process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and skill development within the infrastructure compute and storage delivery teams.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could affect service quality, ensuring seamless operations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
- Adeptness in functioning effectively within cross-functional teams, adapting to agile and DevOps methodologies for software development.
- Outstanding troubleshooting capabilities.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing productive applications or systems, preferably containerized and distributed.
- A profound understanding of containerization, container management, application packaging, and deployment customization.
- Experience with observability tools.
- Proficiency in operating various relational and non-relational data technologies, such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Neo4J.
- Skills in automation and infrastructure as code practices, including GitOps.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (at least C1 level), and proficiency in German (at least B1 level).
