Project Management Internship: Vehicle Cost Optimization

The Mercedes-Benz Technology Center in Sindelfingen is a hub for cutting-edge automotive research and development. Our team specializes in cost management for all Mercedes-Benz passenger car models, ensuring that every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Your Role:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects related to new S, E, C, CLE, GLC, GLE, and GLS classes.
- Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication and efficient decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, incorporating both technical and financial considerations.
- Implement industry best practices and standards within the project management framework.
- Work closely with departments such as development, design, controlling, sales, and purchasing to drive project success.
- Track and analyze project costs, ensuring alignment with budget objectives.
- Support special events, such as product launches, benchmark workshops, or strategy sessions.
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technically Oriented Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and spoken German; proficiency in English is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with knowledge of Power BI being beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Team-oriented, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
