Project Management Internship in Vehicle Cost Analysis

Role Overview: Are you passionate about the automotive industry and interested in the financial aspects of vehicle development? This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in the intricate world of project management within Mercedes-Benz.

Department: Research & Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the strategic management of new vehicle classes, including S/E/C/CLE/GLC/GLE/GLS.
  • Organize, prepare, and actively participate in project-related meetings and committees.
  • Draft essential decision-making documents for upper management.
  • Implement standardized methods and practices in project management.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as development, design, controlling, sales, and purchasing to drive project-specific initiatives.
  • Document and monitor costs to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Support the organization of special events, including product showcases and strategy workshops, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in written and spoken German; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Power BI is desirable.
  • Demonstrated personal attributes: commitment, teamwork, analytical thinking, high comprehension, strategic mindset, enthusiasm for the automotive sector, and effective communication skills.
