Your Role

: The Brooks Technical Sales Manager will spearhead and implement the field support strategy across all distribution channels within the DACH region, aiming to enhance market presence, elevate Brooks' product authority, and foster brand recognition, awareness, and loyalty. The primary objective is to assist all retail partners in effectively marketing Brooks products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the DACH Technical Sales Team.Provide guidance to each Technical Representative in the region through ongoing coaching, goal setting, and dedication to their professional growth.Direct the overall field support initiatives for Brooks at both Specialty and Non-Specialty accounts.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to formulate seasonal strategies for product launches, in-store displays, and innovative grassroots initiatives across all accounts.Partner with Sales and Marketing to implement strategic events and promotional activities.Coordinate with Sales management and Marketing on the effectiveness of Key Account sell-through programs and in-store promotions; ensure all Technical Representatives are accountable for achieving established sell-through targets within their designated stores.Develop the Technical Sales Team to ensure they are fully equipped to engage retailers, consumers, and all key stakeholders about Brooks' technology and product excellence through product seminars and workshops.Educate and inspire strategic retailers, consumers, and key contacts about Brooks' technology and product leadership through presentations, seminars, and workshops.Provide insights and evaluations regarding the success of product initiatives and sales strategies.Maintain the condition of the company vehicle and all Brooks equipment.Engage with assigned accounts – become an expert in driving product sell-through and devise initiatives to enhance sell-through across all channels.Assist in managing all Technical Sales budgets within the DACH region.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, or retail management preferred.1 – 3 years of retail experience (Athletic Specialty preferred).2+ years of Marketing/Sales experience in the sports industry preferred.Initial leadership experience preferred.Basic understanding of retail mathematics, inventory management, product merchandising, and retail selling techniques.Familiarity with performance athletic footwear, apparel, accessories, and their related technologies.Knowledge of human biomechanics and fundamental injury prevention concepts.Awareness of the local running community in the DACH region (events, clubs, coaches, specialty retailers).Highly motivated and energetic with a positive attitude.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and business English, demonstrating effective listening through clear and concise communication.Strong presentation skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills that inspire trust and foster effective working relationships across the organization. Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while maintaining a holistic view of how all components interact and influence one another.Ability to foresee how decisions may impact customers, partners, products, or other departments' operations and morale.Demonstration of creativity and initiative – consistently seeking to enhance products and processes while showing a willingness to engage in details and assist wherever necessary.Active participation in Brooks' sports activities is a plus, complemented by the ability to understand and connect with runners to cultivate loyal, engaging relationships with customers and the Brooks community.Willingness to travel extensively; able to work weekends and extended hours as needed.Must provide proof of a clean driving record upon request.Embraces and embodies the values of Brooks.
