Sales Operations Intern

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Global Sales Operations team as a working student. This role is integral to enhancing our sales processes and involves various responsibilities such as managing sales data, generating reports, forecasting sales trends, analyzing inventory, and overseeing sales automation tools. As a working student, you will play a crucial role in optimizing reporting, forecasting, and supporting diverse Sales & Marketing initiatives while collaborating with teams across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Data Management:

  • Assist in gathering, consolidating, and analyzing sales data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales databases and systems through regular updates.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Create regular and on-demand reports regarding sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Examine sales metrics to uncover patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Aid in the preparation of sales presentations and dashboards for management evaluations.

Process Improvement:

  • Engage in identifying and executing process improvement initiatives within sales operations.
  • Document and standardize sales workflows and processes.

Support for Sales Team:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the sales team.
  • Facilitate communication between sales, marketing, and other relevant departments.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire or Power BI) is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and operations.
