Position Overview

BALENCIAGA Assistant Store Manager | Ingolstadt Village m/f/d

We are in search of an Assistant Store Manager who will report directly to the Store Manager for our outlet location.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for leading the store and sales team to achieve and surpass all sales and KPI objectives, adhering to all operational processes and guidelines. This role involves fostering brand engagement with clients to ensure both quantitative and qualitative targets are met, thus maximizing the store's potential. Acting as a representative of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will undertake all tasks assigned by headquarters and the Store Manager.

Contributions to Success

Business Development:

  • Cultivate and sustain robust business relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing floor coverage, driving sales, visual merchandising, display, client service, and operational functions within the store.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving set quantitative and qualitative objectives.

Talent Leadership and Development:

  • Foster a positive work environment that aligns with Balenciaga's values.
  • Identify, attract, recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Assist the Store Manager in building a motivated and competent team, well-versed in the fashion and luxury sectors.

Brand Promotion:

  • Act as a Balenciaga Ambassador, promoting the brand's culture both internally and externally.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Balenciaga's Signature and Client experience over time.
  • Develop a clienteling mindset to enhance client loyalty and retention.
  • Build a network of influential individuals in the luxury business to foster client loyalty, particularly with high-value clients.

Process Management:

  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, security, internal requirements, sustainability, and HR guidelines.
  • Guarantee the execution of Retail Excellence standards within the store.
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing inventory and warehouse stock.
  • Challenge and enhance current processes to support growth and ensure operational efficiency.

Performance Indicators

  • Business: sales density, conversion rate, units per transaction, cross-selling rate, total transactions.
  • Team: sales productivity, training completion rate, employee turnover rate.
  • Client: local retention rate, customer engagement effectiveness.
  • Process: customer relationship management, omnichannel operations, back-of-house efficiency.
