Role Summary

As part of our Cloud Growth initiative, we are seeking a Key Account Executive to oversee our partnership with BMW. This role requires a seasoned account professional who will foster sustainable relationships and drive revenue growth within the account. The Key Account Executive will formulate a cohesive account strategy and collaborate closely with our Cloud and Software sales teams, marketing, and technical experts to enhance revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and sustain senior-level relationships with C-Level executives at BMW to comprehend their requirements and pinpoint new business opportunities.
  • Establish and execute strategic partnerships, focusing on both business and IT aspects, as well as executive management relationships.
  • Spearhead account planning, customer and market analysis, and strategic sessions.
  • Collaborate with partners to define, recommend, and drive sales initiatives.
  • Promote a Platform selling approach while advocating for Oracle products to targeted customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, emphasizing both Cloud and Software/On-premise workloads.
  • Design effective sales programs and solutions; maintain current competitive insights and compile regional success narratives.
  • Work in tandem with the sales team to identify and pursue new business prospects within the designated account or support Prime Sales and Partner Sales teams in your territory.
  • Partner with our technical team to create and deliver customized solutions for clients.
  • Encourage the adoption and utilization of our IT operation management and monitoring services in the cloud.
  • Lead successful go-to-market initiatives by collaborating closely with internal marketing specialists.
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant Oracle Lines of Business to ensure resource availability when needed.

  • The ability to articulate the comprehensive Oracle Cloud vision and identify genuine use cases that deliver value and facilitate rapid expansion of initial agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative mindset to develop innovative solutions.
  • The capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
