Teads is seeking an Industry Director for the Tech/Telco sector to lead our Strategic Accounts team based in Germany.

This pivotal role presents an exceptional opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization specializing in comprehensive digital advertising solutions. The Strategic Accounts Team is essential for driving growth at Teads, and we have established significant partnerships with many of the leading global brands across various sectors. With recent achievements in the Tech/Telco vertical, we aim to enhance our focus in this area. The Industry Director will possess a strong background in digital sales within the Tech or Telco industries, with a primary goal of nurturing and expanding both existing and new partnerships, ultimately leading to increased revenue with key clients in the Technology sector.

In addition to collaborating with Technology brands, you will work closely with our Agency Sales teams globally to manage high-level relationships with media agencies across your brand portfolio. You will be recognized as a leading authority in Technology advertising and will play a crucial role in training local sales teams at Teads on strategies to strengthen partnerships in this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine and enhance Teads' growth strategy within the Tech or Telco sector.
  • Establish and nurture collaborative partnerships with prominent Tech/Telco brands in Germany, driving sustainable growth across your accounts.
  • Become the primary expert on the Tech/Telco sector, enabling tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of these advertisers.
  • Ensure Teads remains top-of-mind for Tech/Telco clients, integrating our offerings into their core media strategies by fostering relationships across key functions and ensuring stakeholders are well-informed.
  • Achieve sales targets for the Tech/Telco sector.

Additionally, you will:

  • Act as an industry expert to promote vertical and client success through thought leadership in the Tech/Telco space.
  • Develop and deliver consultative sales presentations that leverage your extensive industry knowledge and awareness of market trends, showcasing Teads' full-funnel solutions.
  • Contribute to the gathering of both external and internal market intelligence and insights.
  • Engage proactively with industry committees and participate in conferences to remain at the forefront of industry developments and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding and experience with Tech/Telco clients in Germany.
  • Ability to build relationships with top marketing and media decision-makers.
  • Proven experience in fostering long-term, sustainable partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of online video, display, performance, and CTV.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives collaboratively.
  • Strong track record of delivering results and converting business from other media channels.
  • Willingness to travel and work across different time zones.
  • A self-starter with creativity, resourcefulness, and adaptability, capable of finding solutions while maintaining high standards of work.
