Application Engineer for Variable Speed Drives in Energy and Oil Sectors

Responsibilities- You will assist the global sales team in managing customer projects within the sectors of Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and emerging fields such as Hydrogen.
- Your role includes the commercial and technical preparation of proposals for our products and drive packages, working closely with our sales team.
- Evaluating project requirements and specifications, as well as assessing feasibility (risk evaluation, costs, and delivery time) will be part of your responsibilities, supported by various departments (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Operations).
- You will be responsible for technical clarifications with our clients, finalizing the technical scope of supply, and handing over the project to the relevant departments, including the necessary documentation.
- Coordinating and managing complex customer projects will be done within an interdisciplinary team.
- Additionally, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of tools and processes and lead their implementation.
- You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- You bring several years of professional experience in the capital goods industry as an application engineer or project manager; international experience in the Oil & Gas industry and/or the energy sector is advantageous.
- Proficient English and good German language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
- You are open to occasional global travel (approximately 15%), viewing it as a welcome change.
- Your strengths include high intercultural competence, strong communication skills, and entrepreneurial thinking and action.
- Your profile is complemented by well-developed team and project management abilities, along with a self-motivated and independent working style.
