About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our EMEA sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our presence in the oil & gas and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional strategies to expand new business opportunities in the oil & gas and energy sectors.
  • Identify and develop complex projects in new construction and the electrification of turbine-driven powertrains.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify growth areas in new applications such as hydrogen, decarbonization, digitalization, and electrification.
  • Develop business relationships with industry-relevant stakeholders and generate industry knowledge to inform future development fields.
  • Influence decisions in favor of Voith technologies through close collaboration with business partners.
  • Reflect customer feedback within the Voith organization to drive customer-oriented alignment.
  • Act and coordinate activities within an international team across various departmental areas.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable course from a recognized university.
  • Several years of technical sales experience in the energy or oil & gas industry, with a corresponding network in the industry.
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team player mentality.
